TORIMOTO LABORATRY

This Laboratry has started in Graduate School of Engineering, Nagoya University since 2005.
We are very welcome to your visitting.
We also welcome Master and Doctor students from other Universities. If you have any question about entrance examinations, please let us know.

Metal and semiconductor nanoparticles exhibit unique physicochemical properties different from bulk materials or molecules due to the quantum size effect and have tunable electronic and optical properties, being dependent on their size and shape.
We are currently developing these nanostructured materials and investigating their physicochemical properties for application to the evergy conversion system, such as, photoluminescent materials, solar cells, photocatalysts or fuel cells.

Keywords
quantum dot / semiconductor nanoparticle / metal nanoparticle / ionic liquid / solar cell / fuel cell / photocatalyst / electrocatalyst
